Our plant-based dog poo bags are thick, dark and strong whilst still being 100% biodegradable and EU certified compostable (7P0861), so there's no more need to use plastic poo bags!
They’re made from all-natural, renewable corn starch and plant oils which are EU grown and use no palm or soya, no virgin soil or deforestation. These bags are made in Europe with wind-powered electricity, so they have a low carbon footprint too.

How long will they take to compost?
Industrial composting certifications requires the compostable materials to disintegrate after 12 weeks and completely biodegrade after six months when disposed of correctly.
But they won’t break down in landfill?
Even if the compostable bags ended up in landfill, our bags are a much better option for the environment than plastic bags. Compostable bags are made from a renewable resource (in our case, corn starch), rather than non-renewable petroleum-based plastic. What's more, compostable plastics are also less toxic than conventional counterparts.
Can you compost pet waste?
Yes, poop can be suitable for composting but please ask your customers to check with their local council if they accept pet waste in their composting scheme first
